Does REXCARGO have an office outside Central America (U.S.A., Europe, Asia) ?

NO. REXCARGO is a Central American network and does not operate in any other region directly. Our scope is to offer services through non-exclusive reciprocal service agreements with the world’s TOP 100 Freight Forwarders.

Is REXCARGO C-TPAT Certified ?

NO. C-TPAT is the Authorized Economic Operator program of the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Agency and only U.S.-based companies can be certified. Not even U.S.-certified company subsidiaries outside of the United States can be certified in the C-TPAT program unless they are a Marine Port or operate in Mexico or Canada and undergo a strict audit by C-TPAT. We are certified in the equivalent programs within our countries where available. We are also certified in the Business Alliance for Secure Commerce (BASC) standard which is a U.S. CBP recognized “best-practice” for foreign suppliers of C-TPAT certified companies.

How can a client benefit from the REXCARGO network?

Unfortunately, Central America is known for high levels of insecurity, excessive bureaucracy, poor infrastructure, corruption, and instability of the executive and judicial branches of government. Each country presents different challenges at different levels and being able to operate in a low risk environment may prove to be expensive and dangerous. Having a local partner with proven abilities, capabilities and pristine reputation will definitely allow you and your clients to engage in a more productive and less time and resource intensive manner.
