REXCARGO continually strives to improve its customer service. Please note that the claim form and manual are currently available only in Spanish. Any situation that gives rise to a cargo claim is by nature undesirable for the parties. On this page you will find everything you need to successfully file a claim. We hope to save you misunderstandings about our claims handling process and to make your experience as efficient and satisfying as possible.
Inflexible Deadlines
Please note the following time frames and methods in which claims and / or notifications (protest) must be submitted in writing to be considered. The lack of a protest within the established deadlines makes all actions against REXCARGO inadmissible:
❚ Land Shipping:
Visible Loss / Damage – Immediately
Concealed Loss / Damage – Within 7 consecutive days from the date of delivery
❚ Air shipments :
Visible Loss / Damage – Immediately
Concealed Loss / Damage – Within 14 days from the date of receipt of the cargo
❚ Sea shipments:
Visible Loss / Damage – Immediately
Concealed Loss / Damage – Within 3 consecutive days from the date of delivery
❚ Warehouse and others:
Visible Loss / Damage – Immediately
Hidden Loss / Damage – Within 14 days after the goods are delivered by the warehouse or 30 Days after the Depositor or the last owner of the goods has been notified by the warehouse manager that there has been a loss or damage in part or in full of the goods.
Limits of Liability
that if you did not contract insurance with REXCARGO, or did not contract a higher liability limit, in all cases, our Terms and Conditions of Service establish liability limits in Special Drawing Rights (SDR) . These limits of liability are established in international conventions or other instruments of universal application in the industry.
